Evolution vs. Creation. Now that I've got your attention, I would like to say that I am not here to argue one side or the other because, quite frankly I believe they both are true. I would like to focus on the aspect of evolution and Darwin's theory of natural selection where the strong (or most able to adapt to their surroundings) survive. Most people agree that some form of evolution exists or existed, but I always believed that science based this theory on fossils and bones from thousands, or even millions, of years ago. After watching a little of the Discovery Channel, I don't believe this anymore. There was a program called "Humanzee" which showcased a chimp/human that some believe is a half breed or some evidence that evolution exists today. Oliver, as he is called, walks upright, has less hair on his head and face (much like a human), and is only attracted to human females. He even watches television in his spare time. Now, some things he does could be the result of training him (as he did live the first few years of his life with chimp trainers). There are some things, however, that training and science can't explain. He walks upright, which some chimps do but only for a limited amount of time. Chimpanzees are not built to walk upright because of their bone structure and the way their body proportions are shaped. Oliver always walks upright and has for almost his entire life. He is attracted to human females and even tried to rape his female trainer one day. That is weird. Is Oliver a species of his own that provides the link between humans and primates like chimpanzees? Or is he just the offspring of these two species who inter-species mated? I know it sounds impossible, but look at what science has done with ligers and mules. Maybe evolution itself is just the history of two similar species that mate with the resulting offspring out-lasting its parents. You decide and send me your thoughts.
This is very insightful, yet eerily disturbing, you might want to be checked out.
